First-Ever Complete Public Bible Reading Marathon in the Crisp County / Cordele area

Bible Reading Marathon

Rock the House Ministries, Inc. in cooperation with The International Bible Reading Association is hosting the First-Ever Complete Public Bible Reading Marathon at the Crisp County Courthouse on April 10, 2026 through Friday, April 17, 2026.
"…Devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture” (1 Timothy 4:13).

The event will be open to all and will serve to unite our county with the Proclamation of the Word of God.

After the opening ceremony on Friday, April 10 at 6:pm, we will begin reading the Bible from Genesis 1 through Revelation 22 in 15-minute segments, to be read by volunteers. It is expected to take 90 hours of actual Bible reading and is expected to finish on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 6:pm.  After publicly reading through the entire written Word of God, we will then have the closing ceremony with song and worship for the Living Word of God, Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

Please be in prayer for this Event in that God is Glorified in the Public Reading of the Written Word.
