Rock the House Ministries

the Story

For some time now, I have felt a burden for the lost and that includes sleepy and dying churches. Let’s face it, the American Church has become comfortable, complacent and confused. Too often we assemble only to practice awkward traditions that please “us”. Instead of devoted worship of our Lord "the creator of the universe", we have become practitioners of religion. The ways of the world have crept in and our churches resemble social clubs.
According to Barna research, only 2-3% of American adults consider themselves to be disciples of Christ while 64% of American adults call themselves “Christian”.
The 2024 national survey shows that 66% of adults consider themselves to be Christians, yet just 4% of all adults—and only 6% of the self-identified Christians—possess a biblical worldview (i.e. Biblical Theism)(Barna).
It is no wonder why we are not living out the Great Commission (reference, Matthew 28:19-20).
The complacent church must become the confessing Church.
We must honor God and not ourselves.
Sound Doctrine must replace our “make it up as we go” philosophy.

Please contact Rock the House Ministries today if you have questions or would like bold honest Gospel preaching for your revival meeting, crusade or pulpit supply.

ROCK

"And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock" (Matthew 7:25 ESV).
"He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he" (Deuteronomy32:4 KJV).
"The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my  rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety" (Psalm 18:2 NLT).

Jesus is the ROCK of Salvation!                   Jesus is the Rock Ages, always was, always will be!

HOUSE

"One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple" (Psalm 27:4 NIV).
Hebrew bayith, Greek oikos "house," which means either the building or the persons occupying it. In Genesis 43:26 "home" and "into the house" represent the same phase, "to the house" (ha-bayethah). In Ruth 1:21, "hath brought me home again" means "has caused me to return."
A House is a dwelling place. We are dwelling places.  Let the Lord dwell in your House.
"But for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" (Joshua 24:15 ESV).
